Explosive Ordnance Facilities
enstruct were engaged by to provide structural engineering services for buildings and facilities at Defence Establishment Orchard Hills (DEOH) for the Defence project Explosive Ordnance Facilities Northern NSW Redevelopment (EOFNNSWR).
The development includes new Living-in Accommodation buildings, mess, gym, training, office and supporting infrastructure upgrades as well as the refurbishment of the existing facilities.
DEOH is an enduring base and a major wholesale ammunition depot, providing specialist storage, maintenance, sustainment and distribution services in support of guided weapon systems and other explosive ordnance (EO). It also provides support to EO retail operations and disposal services for the Sydney basin.
DEOH also serves as a key explosive ordnance training facility to provide training for the safe handling, storage and disposal of munitions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
enstruct has successfully completed planning phase for the project and eagerly awaits commencement of delivery phase in order to realise the collaborative vision of the entire design team.
