Withers Road, North Kellyville
enstruct have been employed by the Hill Shire Council for civil engineering design services for the strategic design for Withers Road for approximately 2.2 km of road in Box Hill between Annangrove Road to Commercial Street.
Withers Road is planned to be part of TfNSW's Bus Priority programme and as part of these works, enstruct was required to provide options for the bus priority. The options included, staged Bus Priority Lanes with / without using the Corridor on Withers Road and an ultimate stage Bus Priority with / without using the Corridor on Withers Road.
Works include developing a strategic road alignment for the bus priority lanes for both the staged and ultimate designs. The options included road widening from two lane rural road to an interim four lanes to the ultimate six lanes of roadway. The design also included upgrade of six intersections for each option.
enstruct also assisted in the presentation to TfNSW as part of a submission for funding to progress the design.
