Harris Park Remediation
The City of Parramatta is working with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and other state government authorities to assess the risk of contamination at Harris Park. To that end enstruct has been employed to run and multidisciplinary team including civil engineers and geotechnical, survey, soil contamination consultants to undertake detailed engineering design for a capping layer over a contaminated embankment. While existing works that have been undertaken to shore up the site and ensure the area is safe, these works are being designed to ensure this treatment is permanent.
