Melbourne Data Centre
enstruct undertook structural and civil engineering services for this new data centre located in Melbourne's west. The 130+ MW project is a hyperscale campus with multiple diverse buildings, with 32,000sqm technical data hall area, 12,600sqm of office and storage areas with 34 data halls.
enstruct developed the primary structural design which utilised a modular precast vertical and lateral system to help deliver the initial stage of the project 2 months ahead of program, with zero lost time injuries and a high quality final product. External steel framed gantries were designed to support equipment weighing over 30 tonnes each.
enstruct also delivered the civil works including several bulk earthworks studies to optimise the cut/fill quantities, sediment and erosion control, road and pavement design, OSD and flood study from Concept through to Construction and site phase works
