Waterloo Metro ISD Temporary Works
enstruct has been engaged to provide structural engineering services relating to the complex temporary works required to complete the construction of this new metro station which is required to be operational by 2024.
Works include formwork support of 1000mm thick retention walls, suspended slab formwork systems, lifting advice, back propping, spreader beams and other temporary loading situations.
The station box is particularly complex requiring large strutting heights for formwork through the station chamber and the support of heavy concrete elements that are required to clear span the station box to provide a column free concourse and platform
