Bentham St, Adelaide
enstruct were engaged to undertake structural engineering services for this $48m Travelodge development in the Adelaide CBD. This 18 storey, 185 guest room facility is situated on a small 375sqm site and also contains public facilities such as the reception, lounge, restaurant and bars on the lower two floors and gym on level 2.
The lateral structure comprises of a central reinforced concrete core as well as a perimeter sway frame to reduce sway deflections which is an efficient design utilising the full depth of the building.
