Macquarie St, Parramatta
enstruct provided structural and civil engineering services for the proposed 24 storey commercial development at 50 Macquarie Street in Parramatta's CBD. The project is the amalgamation of three sites with a retail arcade through both sites and activating the adjacent lane ways. The building will deliver in excess of 34,000sqm of commercial office space and retail opportunities at ground level.
A basement cut off wall was chosen for the below ground carpark to eliminate the need for an expensive hydrostatic slab and ground anchors. The tower floor plate comprises an ideal cantilever structure minimising the columns on the floor plate allowing maximum flexibility and a variety of tenancy fitout opportunities.
enstruct have been engaged from concept phase to develop the building form and design continuing through to full design and construction phases.
