enstruct were engaged to perform structural engineering services for the transformation of a 4.9ha business park into a major residential precinct on behalf of Meriton This $260m development consists of 911 apartments in multiple buildings over 1 basement, three childcare centres and community leisure facilities such as gymnasiums, spas, swimming pools as well as public parklands.
Due to poor ground conditions and high water table a single level basement with raft foundations were adopted to avoid a tanked basement with piled foundations. Construction commenced in May 2016 over five stages.
