In the spirit of reconciliation, enstruct acknowledges the Traditional Custodians across all of the lands on which we work and their connections to the land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
This 27-storey, 194 room luxury Toga Group Hotel was developed next door to Harry Seidler's Australia Square and designed in harmony with the neighbouring buildings to compliment the historic precinct. The development consists of leisure facilities such as a pool, terrace, bar, gym, retail and unique sky-top space with an architectural roof feature.
The building is broken into three major sections; ground floor and level one retail, a 12-storey 'base' structure defined by exposed horizontal slab edges and vertical blade elements and a seven-storey golden glazed tower. At each transition walking columns transfer gravity loads to maximise structural efficiency.
enstruct were commissioned to undertake structural and civil engineering services.
