Hyatt Regency, Sydney
$160 million redevelopment of Australia's largest hotel, formerly Four Points by Sheraton, situated at 161 Sussex Street Darling Harbour represented a major economic boost for Sydney, involving more than 220 additional hotel rooms and new convention and meeting space. These facilities are located in a new 25-storey tower and in an expanded podium sitting over the Western Distributor.
enstruct was appointed proof engineer for the structural design. This role was to protect the interest of all parties including the Roads and Maritime Services whose western distributor is spanned by the development. This role included independent analytical studies and reviews to confirm the project's compliance with relevant codes of practice and deeds.
