Rooty Hill Village
Anglicare's Rooty Hill Village included independent retirement living apartments with a free-standing community centre, a residential care home, and a community service hub with mixed retail along the street front.
The buildings across the site vary in height with the structural system consisting of AFS load bearing walls and reinforced concrete slabs with a post tensioned transfer podium slab above the car parking level. The focus of the structural system for the project was to ensure that a cost effective solution is provided to ensure that the project budget is met. To achieve this multiple structural systems were tested prior to selection of the preferred system with enstruct working closely with the project team to achieve a successful outcome.
