Campbelltown Clinical

The extension of the University of Western Sydney medical school, teaching and research facility, is aimed at developing a new Clinical School to support  students who currently must divide their time between the campus and the hospital which will ease the pressure on both these facilities and therefore allow for more teachers and students.

Expected to be completed by the end of 2016, it will include a 165 seat lecture theatre, labs, clinical and class rooms, a library and offices. The building is designed to achieve a 5 Star Greenstar As-Built rating. The building structure is comprised of a reinforced concrete framed building supported off pile foundations. The lateral capacity is provided by the reinforced concrete shear walls which form the stair and lift shafts.
