The Harold Park urban renewal project located in Forest Lodge was undertaken to meet the needs for new inner-city housing and will involve redeveloping the Harold Park Paceway while preserving the heritage listed Rozelle Tramshed. Developed by Mirvac, this $1.1 billion project included constructing 1,250 new apartments over a number of precincts, with 3.8 hectares of public parkland and 7,500 square metres of retail area at the Rozelle Tramshed.
enstruct undertook the structural design of the Precinct 4A residential building which has two levels of carparking, three levels of residential apartments with roof gardens that can be viewed from Maxwell Road. All floorplates were designed as post-tensioned concrete flat slabs supported on concrete columns with transfer floorplates on two different levels to account for different floor layouts.
