In the spirit of reconciliation, enstruct acknowledges the Traditional Custodians across all of the lands on which we work and their connections to the land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
Museum Station in Sydney was constructed in the 1920's under the direction of John Bradfield. Together with St James, it was the first underground station in Australia and has great heritage significance. The Easy Access Upgrade project has provided lift access to all levels while respecting the heritage fabric of the station. Technical challenges included constructing new lift shafts within an operating station, while controlling loads on original tunnel, arch and concourse structures.
enstruct was commissioned by TfNSW to carry out Peer Review for civil and structural engineering. This included advice and review of design and documentation from concept stage, through to construction documentation, followed by review of works on-site until project completion.
