Park Rise, Waitara Avenue
The Waitara Avenue residential development consists of three 9-storey towers and a new public park built above a 344 space basement car park. The public park was designed in consultation with Council as a link between the nearby Mark Taylor Oval and the existing residential buildings nearby.
The structure included an intricate podium slab with landscaping above used to create multipurpose spaces for the residents. The basement extent meant that the stormwater drainage design required close coordination with the project design team to ensure the drainage lines and on-site detention could be fitted within the site.
