Lachlan Health Concept
The Lachlan Health services project involved the redevelopment of Parkes Hospital on a new site within Parkes and the refurbishment of Forbes Hospital with a combination of new building and refurbishment of the existing hospital.
enstruct were engaged by Health Infrastructure for the Concept Design Phase of the project and played a key role in this early phase of the project to establish the structural and civil principles for the project and confirm the preferred development option for the each site. The focus of the design for each site was to provide a contemporary hospital future proofed for the further development / demands and in the case of Forbes Hospital ensuring the preferred design minimised disruptions to the existing hospital during construction.
