ICC Sydney
The redevelopment of the International Convention Centre Sydney in Darling Harbour included the construction of Australia's largest convention and exhibition facility, a new hotel and improved public domain areas. The new 20 Hectare precinct uses a central Boulevard to create an open and accessible public gathering space.
enstruct were engaged as part of the Independent Verifier team for review of the Civil and Structural Engineering aspect of the development. Verification works included stormwater drainage and flooding through the precinct, road design for the realignment of Darling Drive, the building dynamics for the exhibition centre and theatre, reuse of existing structure and general structural and civil design.
