The Platform Apartments
The development provided affordable housing on the existing Eveleigh Rail Yards Site and formed Stage 1 of the redevelopment of the site. The site was previously owned by State Rail Authority and the re-development of the site managed by the Sydney Metropolitan Development Authority. City West Housing constructed 86 residential units over 7 stories on the central portion of the site adjacent the existing Carriageworks building. Construction was successfully completed early 2015.
