In the spirit of reconciliation, enstruct acknowledges the Traditional Custodians across all of the lands on which we work and their connections to the land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
The design competition for No.8 Chifley Square was won by the architectural joint venture of Richard Rogers and Lippmann Associates. enstruct, who had assisted Mirvac with both the Stage 1 DA and acted as technical advisor, were appointed peer reviewer for the structure. The building's lateral system consists of external steel mega frames coupled with an eccentric slender reinforced concrete core. The typical floor plates are long span post tensioned beams and slabs. The review focused on the building's lateral system and the typical floor. Having recently completed the design and construction phase of 1 Bligh Street, enstruct were able to provide feedback with respect to the performance of Greenstar concrete currently being supplied by the industry.
