Wetherill Park Shopping
Stockland is redeveloping a large portion of their current shopping centre at Wetherill Park, capitalising on the significant population growth that has been a part of the landscape of Western Sydney over the last few decades. The development converts existing on grade parking into a ground floor retail level and multistorey carpark. Brookfield Multiplex have been engaged to bring Stockland's $200million redevelopment into reality. Significant construction staging was required to keep the existing tenants trading during construction while minimizing any inconvenience for shoppers. The project was therefore delivered in two stages with stage 1 completed and tenants trading while stage 2 construction was commencing. The staged development also allowed for the decanting and refurbishment of the existing centre upon completion of the second stage.
