In 2010 an architectural design competition for the major refurbishment of the existing circa 1970's 14 storey commercial office building in the Sydney CBD was undertaken. The refurbishment of the building involved the replacement of the entire building façade, upgrade and expansion of ground floor and lower retail tenancies, modernization of the commercial floor plate and expansion of the Level 14 commercial space. enstruct was engaged from concept design phase through to tendering phase documentation for the redevelopment works. The works involved replacement of the ground level building transfer structure on the perimeter of the building and a number of modifications to the existing floor plate structure which required detailed structural analysis and integration of the existing building structure.
