North Sydney Commerce
A 30 storey commercial office tower located at a prominent North Sydney CBD address. The building contains an offset core with a long span open plan floor plate of typically 1500 square metres of net lettable area.The typical floor plate structure utilizes a balanced cantilever system ( post tensioned concrete) with a perimeter cantilever of 6 metres and internal spans of 17metres, requiring only two columns across the building within a floor to floor height of 3.7 metres. The column arrangement such that no transfers are required through the five level basement car park.The core contains a three rise lift arrangement and was developed as the principal lateral structure for the building. Analyses of the lateral structure were carried out to determine the building's response to wind load.
