Nepean Clinical School
This project was aimed at developing a new Clinical School to
support health workforce development by increasing the number of
medical trainees and improving the quality of clinical training. To
achieve this, the client (Sydney University) required a building of
approximately 3,400 sqm. enstruct carried out all structural and
civil engineering required for the Development Application. This
involved the creation of a 3D Revit model that was used to
co-ordinate the architect and other consultant documentation to
ensure the DA could be
submitted with confidence. enstruct developed an optimised
column layout that married the room layouts in the upper levels
with the car park to maximise parking numbers while minimising
spans and concealing the upper level columns in room dividing
walls.
