Quay Street, Urbanest
Urbanest acquired this site on the corner of Quay and Thomas St in Haymarket for their first student accommodation facility in Sydney. The 16 storey L-shaped building provides accommodation for 334 students in four to six bedroom clusters arranged to maximise the amenity of all apartments. enstruct's commission covered schematic design/DA application through to tender documentation for a D&C tender process. The design of the building incorporated a number of prefabricated elements such as bathroom pods and façade to minimise project program and cost.
