P6 Paystation
The client for this project was the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, who commissioned Tony Caro Architecture to design a bespoke pay station at the western edge of the Olympic park. enstruct have worked with Caro on a number of similar projects including the Olympic Plaza Feature. The project contains a floating roof cantilevering some ten metres to provide cover. Considerable effort was placed on developing sample and elegant detailing in all structural and non-structural elements, such as the seating and the screens. The detailing of the steelwork allowed considerable off site fabrication and a simple construction methodology.
