Macquarie Uni Hospital
Macquarie University has created a state of the art facility to deliver cutting edge medical procedures. The hospital provides comprehensive services including radiology, pathology, oncology, cardiology vascular surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, general surgery and neurology. enstruct provided detailed information to its client Baulderstone Hornibrook to enable a guaranteed maximum price contract to be entered into with the University. The basement holds a series of subterranean bunkers that house the radiotherapy department and the cyclotron. To contain the radioactivity, the bunkers are surrounded by solid concrete up to 2.5 metres thick.
