Sonic Healthcare
North Ryde has seen significant growth with the opening of the Lane Cove Tunnel and the Chatswood to Epping Rail service. This expansion has allowed Sonic to grow its business rapidly to meet society's ever increasing need for pathology services and other medical diagnostic testing. enstruct provided full structural engineering service to tender and then acted for Sonic during the construction process. The development consists of several underground car parking levels for staff, warehousing facilities, office accommodation and staff amenities such as gymnasium and cafe set on large open plan floor plates. Significant high load areas have been integrated into the design to accommodate the storage of glass testing slides which forms the basis of much of Sonic's services.
