In the spirit of reconciliation, enstruct acknowledges the Traditional Custodians across all of the lands on which we work and their connections to the land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
In the lead up to the 2000 Sydney Olympics, AMP acquired a series of 15 Olympic torches, the earliest being the torch from the 1936 Berlin Games. In order to display this amazing collection in a fitting way, a bespoke glass and steel display case has been constructed in the foyer of their Circular Quay main office. The design was the result of a close collaboration between the client, engineers, steel fabricators, glass fitters, screen printers and artists. Given its type and scale, the project was more akin to product design - with a great deal of focus on the components and their details as observed from close range.
