Mount Street Final Stage
This landmark commercial tower has reached its final stages of construction and is now the tallest building in North Sydney creating a defining presence in the North Sydney skyline. With its offset core and large open floor plan, 100 Mount Street provides a premium office space in the heart of North Sydney. The long span floor plates provide excellent fitout flexibility with column free facades offering uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour and beyond. The megabrace is required to provide lateral stability to the structure whilst also forming the key architectural feature of the building. The central megabrace node provides an example of innovative engineering design utilising rubber bearings to allow the release of forces caused by column shortening and thermal effects while supporting lateral wind loads. Fitout design is well progressed and the tenants eagerly await the completion of construction.
