80 Arthur Demo Complete
The existing building at 80 Arthur St has been demolished with bulk excavation on-site to begin shortly. Excavation will be accomplished off a steel loading platform which has been designed and documented by enstruct that will allow unimpeded access to the constrained site for all excavation machinery. Site shoring has also been detailed by enstruct and will be installed as excavation progresses in order to allow the progression of the new build.
The innovative structural steel frame will allow significant speed of construction, and the construction team will be supported by a double height jump-form system to accelerate the construction of the building core this should see a rapid progression of the structure in late 2014.
