Werrington On-Site
Werrington Park Corporate Centre is a new educational and research facility located at University of Western Sydney's Penrith Campus. Preliminary site works involving significant earthworks regrading commenced in November 2013. The resulting ground profile forms the basis of a substantial stormwater basin, a new 350m access road, a 120 space on-grade car park as well as the new building platform.
A key component of the civil engineering design was to achieve a balance of on-site earthworks material. This entailed finished levels design, modelling and material cut/fill analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Throughout the project, enstruct's civil engineers developed close working relationships with the architect and landscape architect to deliver a coordinated design.
