QT Gowings' Historic Win
At the 2013 New South Wales Master Builders Association Excellence awards the new home for the boutique QT Sydney Hotel the Gowings /State Theatre Building has won an award for the best "Adaptive Re-Use of an Historic Building."
The judgement appreciated the major structural upgrades that took place including replacement of all services and the reinstatement and repair of facade heritage features such as gargoyles, knights and spiral columns which were replicated from glass reinforced concrete.
