Qantas HQ Construction
Construction works are now significantly advanced on the redevelopment of the Qantas Global Headquarters in Mascot. Erection of the 450 tonnes of structural steelwork which will form the new interconnecting "Hub" space is progressing well with the project due to be completed early next year. The "Hub" connects three existing buildings on the site and will form a new communal street space which will re-activate the existing campus.
Within the hub space, cantilevered meeting pods and balconies as well as new inter-storey stairs and a footbridge will allow Qantas staff to access and interface with the new space as they go about their daily business.
