The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has nominated 1 Bligh as the " Best Tall Building in Asia and Australasia for 2012 ". As such, the building is shortlisted with three other buildings for the prestigious " Best Tall Building in the World " award to be announced at the Council's Symposium in Chicago on 18 October 2012.
