In the spirit of reconciliation, enstruct acknowledges the Traditional Custodians across all of the lands on which we work and their connections to the land, sea and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
A planning amendment for 100 Mount Street has now been submitted to the NSW Planning Department for assessment. The building core has been moved from the northern side of the site to the western end and an elegant externally expressed bracing structure has been added to the eastern façade to reduce torsional rotation due to the eccentric core. The ground plane has been opened up to invite pedestrian traffic through the building foyer and the plant rooms have been relocated to the top of the building. The typical floor now has only 10 columns with large 6 metre clear cantilevers to the façade maximising natural light penetration into the floors and increasing the efficiency of the workstation set out. The resulting building will be a prominent and distinctive feature on the North Sydney skyline.
