Gowings Onsite
The tenants have moved out and works have now begun on the redevelopment of these two iconic Sydney buildings. The redevelopment works will transform the existing retail and commercial spaces within these buildings into a 196 room boutique hotel.
The works will involve significant conservation and upgrade of the heritage items within both buildings. The State Theatre is not being modified as part of the works and will remain in operation during the construction works.
Works are scheduled for completion in 2012.
