Demolition and site remediation are due for completion by the middle of 2009, making way for the major development to proceed on the six hectare site which has housed Sydney's major brewery since 1835.
A complex demolition has successfully retained a number of heritage buildings, including the signature masonry chimney.
This work now makes way for construction on the site commencing in the second half of this year.
