Haymarket in DA
The DA for the proposed commercial development at 75 Quay St was lodged in early April 2008. enstruct initially assisted Bates Smart with their design competition entry in late 2007 and was subsequently engaged as the structural engineer for the development. Enstruct assisted the design team lead by Bates Smart and Savills in progressing the Bates Smart design competition scheme to allow submission of the DA.
The proposed development is located on the site of the former poultry market with a portion of the original façade intact and being retained and incorporated into the development. Due to the archeological significance of the site a detailed archeological investigation will be undertaken across the site prior to commencement of excavation/construction works.
